The Solution
The answer is the number of "holes" in each digit of the number added together. So 7111 would equal zero. 6666 would equal 4 since it has four holes.
8866 would equal 6 since the eights have four total holes, and the two sixes have one hole each, for a total of six.
Therefore, the answer is 2. 2581 = 2 for the two holes in the eight. Did you get it?
